Fallows vs Ferguson on China

I agree with Fallows, but poor fiscal management and poor decisions that result in an attack on the Chinese economy can move this towards Ferguson in a hurry.

The biggest threat to our national security today is our economic situation. I hope the DoD has the gonads to write that on the first page of the QDR, although I am not sure if even that will be the wake up call needed to move our leaders towards fiscal responsibility.
