
PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (April 13, 2024) Joni Nowatzki, command ombudsman of the guided-missile destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59), logs onto "The Destroyerman," the ship's blog. With more than 9,000 visits since the site opened March 23, the ship is using an innovative way to capture the experiences of the day-to-day life at sea.
