Milbloggies Endrosements

Military.com has a milblogger award every year. Are we interested in this? To each their own, at first we admit we don't care. However, after reading the purpose of the award and observing the names of the finalists, we are reconsidering a bit. This is the stated purpose.
"The Milbloggies Award recognizes military bloggers for their contribution to blogging, news and information, and to the military over the past year."
Hmm. This is a definition we can work with. Look, in the Navy category, with all due respect there are two of the best blogs you can find on the internet listed with CDR Salamander and Neptunus Lex. Either is an easy choice... if this was a contest about the best blog, because in our opinion both blogs qualify as two of the best blogs anywhere on the internet.

But it isn't about the best blog, the purpose is specific to contribution to blogging. With all due respect to everyone else listed, there is only one clear choice for the Army and one clear choice for the Navy.

If you are a member of military.com, we encourage you to vote. We are endorsing Kaboom and TheDestroyerman officially. Not because they are the best blogs, rather because their contribution to blogging as a medium for information is the clear choice over the other blogs listed.
