Folks, after looking through several of the categories to check if anyone part of the Navy blogosphere had made the short lists, I passed on giving this topic much commentary. But upon further review, one of our very own, Joel Kennedy over at The Stupid Shall Be Punished is in the running for Best Up And Coming Blog with Technorati Authority between 51 and 100.While I agree it is hard to take a blog award process seriously when they fail to list the Small Wars Journal in the Best Military Blog category (Op-For and Blackfive made the list, but we all know Michael Yon will have the last laugh), they definitely got it right with Joel's blog.
I don't know if it is his unique insight into nuance of Idaho politics, or his brilliant analysis of all serious submarine related topics that got him listed, but as a giant and one of the pioneers of the Naval blogosphere I encourage everyone to take a few seconds out of your day, hit the link, and click the bubble next to Bubbleheads blog to cast your vote. A few clicks from this community should give him the momentum he needs to pull away from his contenders.
