Bell/Boeing Quad TiltRotor (QTR) - Concept Of Deployment

I found this video interesting.

This Bell/Boeing video sells Sea Basing with the MPF(F) better than either the Marines or Navy do. Is this the future of carrier based aerial refueling? Is this the future of Carrier based fixed wing ASW? Boeing does make the P-8 Poseidon, so one wonders if they could put that equipment on this platform for a sea based version.

While it is probably as expensive as hell, it does represent a concept that can replace the C-2s, S-3s, and add vertical lift where the CV-22/MV-22 falls short. My rule of thumb is, when replacing multiple platform roles with a single platform, high costs can be acceptable, as long as this doesn't become a $200 million dollar aircraft.
