This is a picture of the first refueling at sea for USS Freedom (LCS 1). Taken April 21, 2009.

A few notes.

1) The port bridge wing appears completely repaired.

2) There are some new electronics installed on the ship.

3) Count helmets. Just saying...

4) Those are contractors on the helo deck.

5) That is USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196)
