I will be attending the Global Maritime Information Sharing Symposium 15-17 September in Washington, DC. It looks like an excellent opportunity to hear about the state of cooperation between government and industry on enhancing Maritime Domain Awareness and Maritime Security. I'm particularly interested in both of these subjects, each of which was highlighted in the Maritime Strategy as worthy of increased attention.
I'll write a daily blog entry from the conference, and though Chatham House rules will be in place (I may not identify the speaker or the affiliation), I will do my best to talk about ideas and concepts that flow out of the discussions.
