My Public Disclosure of Bias Post - Thanks FTC

Thanks to the Federal Trade Commission, in the spirit of protecting you, the consumer, from fraud - I must now disclose anyone who provides material condition to me, as a blogger, in order to give my endorsement of any product.

The new regulation on social media requires me, as a blogger, to disclose my endorsements, including payments for an endorsement of a product, or free products. Needless to say, my Senator is the unfortunate prick (this is not a paid endorsement from Trojan!) at the heart of this new uber regulation of free speech.

In that spirit, I should inform you that I have zero material connection to product endorsements that I have made or may make on this blog. In other words, when I say AEGIS is the worlds greatest weapon system, it is an opinion I came to without material connection to Lockheed Martin or anyone else in the defense industry. My endorsements of the Standard Missile as the most flexible interceptor in the world likewise has no connection to Raytheon, and my endorsement of any other product, like the F-22, is also not influenced by any payment or privilege that I would need to be disclosed, right Boeing?

With that said, I do not want to discourage Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Boeing, or Northrop Grumman from donating large quantities of US dollars to me. I promise to accept any such donations with open arms, and will disclose any bias that I may have afterward should such large donations windfall my direction.

Bottom line, Internet regulation of free speech has arrived. This was not a good day for the internet, as government has decided that all of us are as dumb as the least of us. Do not be fooled my fellow citizen social media citizens, you can be bet your ass it is thanks to folks like the dieing New York Times.
