More on the Noisy Jin

Updating my earlier post on the Jin class SSBN, Jeffrey Lewis has a much more detailed discussion of the likely technical capabilities of the Jin, and of where the Jin stands in relation to US and Russian SSBNs. Lewis argues that the Jin's closest approximation is a Soviet Delta I, which would make it substantially louder than an Akula or anything that the USN deploys.
