Cyber, China

I've read some pretty interesting articles related to cyber security, China, and the Department of Defense over the years. One of the better short papers I have read was titled Towards Net-Centric Cyber Survivability for Ballistic Missile Defense (PDF), an interesting read for anyone who is interested in such things.

There are actually dozens of great papers out there, but the latest prepared for the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and published by Northrop Grumman Corp titled Occupying the Information High Ground: Chinese Capabilities for Computer Network Operations and Cyber Espionage (PDF), and I think it is an easy read - a paper that might get traction primarily because it can be easily understood by larger, less technical audiences.

If nothing else, the case study starting on page 37 is very much worth reading.
